In Ezra 7:9 this Hebrew word מַעֲלָה (Ma’lah) Ascent – Upward – Rising – Steps
Represents an upward Journey , both physically and spiritually. In Ezra 7:9, this word describes the journey from Babylon to Jerusalem, a Journey guided by the hand of God. Ascend is a reminder to keep moving forward, growing in faith, and looking forward to what is above. No matter where you are in life , your journey isn’t over. Keep your eyes on Christ and continue upward.
“For upon the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him.” Ezra 7:9
